As CEO, Eugene leads MODRN's strategy, growth, and external partnerships across the firm's construction, services, and technology arms.

Eugene Amoah is the Chief Executive Officer of MODRN Inc. He is responsible for the strategy, growth, and day-to-day operations of the firm. Eugene also serves as MODRN's senior project lead, personally managing scheduling and project controls on engagements with the Metropolitan Transportation Authority, the New York City School Construction Authority, the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey, and the New York State Office of General Services.

Eugene joined MODRN as Chief Executive Officer in December 2022, the same year the firm was founded on January 29, 2022. Before MODRN, he spent more than three years at Howell Industries in partnership with TDX Construction, where he led project teams across the New York City School Construction Authority's Mentor program. He served progressively as Project Officer, Assistant Senior Project Officer, and Senior Project Manager and Superintendent — supervising general construction, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing scopes from design through closeout. In that role he mentored and trained Mentor program contractors on contract review, pre-construction practice, and construction management techniques — work that has since shaped MODRN's approach to systems-driven project delivery.

Earlier in his career, Eugene served as a cost estimator and project manager for Brandy's Multi Services and Costrak Consulting Services, leading feasibility studies, value engineering, change order management, and project closeouts. He began his career in Ghana at Asmona Ghana Ltd. and Spaysis Architecture, Planning, and Engineering, managing road projects and residential housing builds and developing Bills of Quantities for institutional and commercial work — including the proposed construction of 30,000 housing units in Côte d'Ivoire.

Eugene is also committed to building the next generation of public-sector construction professionals. He serves as an Instructor in the Construction Management Certificate Program at Bergen County Community College's Division of Continuing Education and Workforce Development, teaching applied print reading, practical law and documentation, project organization and site management, and cost estimating and control. In 2025, he was the featured Construction Industry Trainer and Consultant for the NYS Business Growth Accelerator Training Program through the Business Outreach Center Network, leading specialized workshops for more than fifty MWBE and small construction firm owners on project management, contract administration, lien law, and NYC and NYS regulatory compliance.

Eugene holds a Master of Science in Construction Administration from Columbia University, a Certificate in Construction Project Management from Pace University, and a Bachelor of Science in Quantity Surveying and Construction Economics from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology in Kumasi, Ghana. He is a Certified Construction Manager (CCM) and a Project Management Professional (PMP), and holds OSHA 30 and OSHA 10 certifications. He lives in Rockland County, New York.
